Job summary

Solara Autism Services is seeking compassionate, energetic Behavior Therapists to provide in-home ABA services throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut. You will work one-on-one with children in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.

This part-time role offers flexible hours, paid training, supervision, and opportunities to grow into RBT and BCBA pathways within a supportive, family-centered team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in psychology or related field preferred.
• RBT certification preferred but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their homes under a BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, school readiness, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based teaching to increase skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect session data and complete daily clinical documentation.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training.
• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization at home and in the community.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
• Communicate progress with supervising BCBAs.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and clinical procedures.

As a Part-Time Behavior Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Position Details

• Position: Part-Time Behavior Therapist

• Location: Fairfield County, Connecticut

• Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Hours

• Setting: In-Home ABA Services

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Responsibilities

• Collect accurate session data and complete daily clinical documentation

• Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training

• Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings

• Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment

• Communicate effectively with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress

• Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and clinical procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred

• Experience working with children is preferred (ABA experience is a plus but not required)

• RBT certification preferred, but not required-paid training and support provided

• Passion for helping children achieve meaningful progress

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Ability to remain active throughout therapy sessions, including sitting on the floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds, and responding quickly to client behaviors

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County
