Solara Autism Services in Connecticut is seeking compassionate Part-Time Behavior Therapists to join our team delivering in-home ABA services across Fairfield County. You will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism under the supervision of a BCBA.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, Special Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • RBT certification preferred, but not required; paid training and support provided.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stay active during therapy sessions and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their homes under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies
  • Teach communication, social, play, self-help, school readiness, and daily living skills
  • Utilize evidence-based teaching procedures to increase skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Collect accurate session data and complete daily clinical documentation
  • Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training
  • Collaborate with families to promote skill generalization across home and community settings
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress
  • Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and clinical procedures

Solara Autism Services is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Behavior Therapists to join our growing team providing in-home ABA services throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut.

As a Part-Time Behavior Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This flexible opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children learn and grow while gaining valuable experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Position: Part-Time Behavior Therapist

Location: Fairfield County, Connecticut

Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Hours

Setting: In-Home ABA Services

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
