Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning, based in Trumbull, CT, is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work in one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy). You will implement student education and behavioral programs under supervisors and collaborate with specialists to support children with diverse needs.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred) and has experience with children with disabilities, with ABA experience valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a Behavior Therapist, you will implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists and Occupational/Physical Therapists.

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Behavior Therapist to work out of one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy), providing services to children who have been outplaced to our program due to social, behavioral, and/or academic needs.

As a Behavior Therapist, you will work under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists and Occupational/Physical Therapists.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Experience working directly with children with disabilities.
• Experience in ABA preferred.

Salary:

$36,000 - $46,000 per year, based on education and experience
