Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking an entry-level Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children in ABA-based therapy. You will help develop communication, social, and daily living skills, following established behavior plans.

A 40-hour certification training is provided, with ongoing professional development and support. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a small caseload to ensure individualized care, with opportunities to grow within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
• Must pass a background check.
• Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings.

Entry Level Behavior Technician Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

$17 - $20 an hour
