Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. is hiring part-time ABA and RBT Therapists to provide in-home services to children on the autism spectrum in California. Shifts are available 8:00am–8:00pm with prime-time hours in the late afternoons/evenings; up to 29 hours per week.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. We offer top direct service rates ($22–$24/hour for behavior therapist; $25–$29/hour for RBT) and a sign-on bonus (up to $250 for BTs and $500 for RBTs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 1 year experience in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
• RBT certification, or RBT in process, is a PLUS.
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism using ABA methodologies.
• Energetic and able to play with children; passionate about helping youth.
• Bilingual in Spanish a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate a positive learning environment for every individual.
• Implement individualized ABA programming under the direction of a BCBA/supervisor.
• Use reinforcement, prompting, fading, and shaping procedures.
• Encourage socialization and daily living skills.
• Respond to and minimize disruptive behaviors by following the behavior intervention plan.
• Collect data on ABA targets and use Central Reach to enter and track progress.

Job Description

Position Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT certified), or RBT in process, is a PLUS
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism using ABA methodologies
• Candidates must be energetic, comfortable playing with children, and have a passion for helping youth achieve their true potential
• Bilingual in Spanish a PLUS
