Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. is seeking part-time ABA and RBT Therapists to provide in-home services for children on the autism spectrum. Hours available up to 29 per week, with services from 8:00am–8:00pm, Monday–Friday in late afternoons/evenings.

Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS. Typical rates vary by role and experience, with $22–$24/hour for behavior therapists and $25–$29/hour for RBTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 1 year experience in Applied Behavior Analysis field preferred.
• RBT certification, or RBT in process, is a PLUS.
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism using ABA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate a positive learning environment for every individual.
• Implement individualized ABA programming under the direction of a BCBA/supervisor.
• Use ABA principles such as reinforcement, prompting, fading, and shaping procedures.
• Implement strategies to encourage socialization and daily living skills.
• Respond to and minimize difficult behaviors by following the BCBA/supervisor's plan.
• Collect data on ABA targets and enter progress in Central Reach.

Job Description

• Create a fun, motivating experience to generate a positive learning environment for every individual

• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors by following the behavior intervention plan created by the BCBA/supervisor
• Collect data on ABA programming targets and utilize an online system (Central Reach) to enter, track, and view progress

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 1 year experience inApplied Behavior Analysis field preferred
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT certified), or RBT in process, is a PLUS
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism using ABA methodologies
• Candidates must be energetic, comfortable playing with children, and have a passion for helping youth achieve their true potential
• Bilingual in Spanish a PLUS
