Job summary

FirstSteps for Kids, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children ages 2–13 diagnosed with autism, using creativity, patience, and motivation to develop communication, play, social, and daily living skills.

No ABA experience is required; we will train you, pay for your RBT certification, and support your growth with hands-on coaching and mentorship.

At FirstSteps, you’ll work one-on-one with children ages 2–13 with autism, using your creativity, patience, and ability to motivate kids to help them build communication, play, social, and everyday life skills. No ABA experience required. We’ll teach you the clinical skills, pay for your RBT certification, and support your growth every step of the way.

Health & Safety Requirements

• Childhood vaccinations (MMR and Varicella) and a non‑reactive TB test
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors or child‑sized furniture, and move quickly from a seated position to a running stance
