Job summary

FirstSteps for Kids, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as direct care providers working with children with autism.

We’ll train you, cover your RBT certification, and support you as you develop clinical skills through one-on-one work with kids who have autism. Starting pay is $23–$25/hr DOE, with opportunities for $1/hour raises via Instructor Development Bundles and additional benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Experience in psychology, education, or child-focused roles.
• Willingness to train and obtain RBT certification.
• Ability to work with children and support development through structured activities.

• Childhood vaccinations (MMR & Varicella) and non-reactive TB test
• Access to reliable a reliable vehicle, driver's license, and insurance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child‑sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance
