Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is hiring Behavior Technicians in Anoka, MN to support children on the autism spectrum with evidence-based ABA techniques. No prior behavioral health experience is required, and you will receive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

The role runs full-time from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday sessions for make-up appointments. Competitive hourly compensation applies, with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Availability to work full-time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday–Friday; some Saturdays for make-up sessions.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Experience with children with special needs preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills. Requirements

• Availability to work full-time between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Centers are open periodically on Saturdays for make-up client sessions.)
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
