Job summary

Caravel Autism Health in Anoka, MN is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support children on the autism spectrum using ABA-based techniques in a 1:1 setting. This full-time role runs 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday sessions for make-up visits.

No prior behavioral health experience is required; paid training is provided to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and opportunities for professional development and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Availability to work full-time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Centers open Saturdays occasionally for make-up sessions).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.

At Caravel, our BTs change lives daily. We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills.
