Behavior Technician with Paid RBT Certification
We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children ages 1-6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a clinic-based setting.
The role involves working directly with children, supporting them to build critical life skills through a play-based ReggioABA™ approach, under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This is a physically and emotionally active role requiring on-the-floor interaction with children, helping with communication, potty training, and emotion regulation. Attendance and punctuality are essential from the first day of training through daily clinic work.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children ages 1-6 in a clinic-based setting
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans written by a BCBA
- Collect and track accurate data on each child’s progress
- Support daily care tasks (feeding, diapering, dressing, grooming) as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children and staff
- Collaborate with teammates and communicate professionally and respectfully with families
- Encourage play, social engagement, and positive behavior through our ReggioABA™ approach
- Participate in regular training, supervision, and feedback sessions to build your skills
What We're Looking For (Qualifications and Skills)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn, apply feedback, and grow within the role
- Reliable and punctual—able to consistently attend training and scheduled shifts
- Physically and emotionally able to support children with challenging behaviors (including occasional aggression such as hitting or biting)
- Flexible and collaborative, with a mission-driven mindset
- Must not have immediate family members currently receiving therapy at our clinics
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance at assigned clinic
- RBT Certification required within first 90 days (training provided) and raise upon certification
Base Pay and Schedule
- Base pay range: $37,000.00/yr - $45,000.00/yr
- Entry-Level Behavior Technician (BT): $18.00/hour (starting Day 1 of training)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): $20.00/hour (once certified, typically within 4-6 weeks)
- Leadership Roles (growth opportunity): Up to $22.00/hour
- Merit Raises: $0.50 every six months with continuous and satisfactory employment
Schedule
Full-time | Monday-Friday | 7:40 AM - 3:55 PM
