Role Overview & Core Details

We’re seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2–6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you’ll work directly with children in a clinic‑based setting, helping them build critical life skills through our unique, play‑based Reggio ABA™ approach. You’ll be supported by on‑site Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team leaders every step of the way.

This is a physically and emotionally active role. You’ll spend much of your day on the floor with children, supporting them as they learn to communicate, potty train, and manage big emotions. At times, children may engage in behaviors such as screaming, biting, or hitting—you’ll be trained to respond calmly and professionally.

Reliability is key: families depend on consistent, committed staff to help their children grow. Attendance and punctuality are essential from your very first day of paid training through your work in the clinic.

Clinic Locations (Missouri)

Ballwin | St. Peters | Florissant | Mehlville | Wright City. Positions are offered based on current site availability.

Schedule

Full‑time; Monday–Friday; 7:40 AM – 3:55 PM. Because our clients rely on a steady routine, we are unable to modify the days or hours for this position.

Compensation & Career Growth

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour. Candidates must hold an active RBT certification and have a minimum of 3 months of experience working with children aged 2–6.

Growth Opportunities: Merit‑based increases and long‑term career progression. Leadership track available for high‑performing RBTs who wish to transition into advanced roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children ages 2–6 in a clinic‑based setting.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans written by a BCBA.
• Collect and track accurate data on each child’s progress.
• Support daily care tasks (feeding, diapering, dressing, grooming) as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children and staff.
• Collaborate with teammates and communicate professionally and respectfully with families.
• Encourage play, social engagement, and positive behavior through our Reggio ABA™ approach.
• Participate in regular training, supervision, and feedback sessions to build skills.

Essential Qualifications

• Active RBT certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Understanding of the RBT Ethics Code and commitment to professional integrity.
• Timely completion of the RBT renewal process.
• Clear background check.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• No immediate family members currently receiving services at our clinics.
• Preferred: Experience working with children aged 2–6.
• Physical ability to lift/move children up to 45 lbs and sustain high energy levels required for early intervention.
• Ability to respond to challenging behaviors using proactive, reinforcement‑based strategies.
