Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in Tennessee is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1-1 treatment in clients' homes. You will implement plans designed by a BCBA, collect progress data, and train families on strategies.

This role offers flexible part-time hours and a supportive team environment. Ideal candidates have a passion for helping children with autism, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience supporting children with behavioral challenges or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or developmental disabilities is preferred; training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; follow instructions precisely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay organized with changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report results.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to client, family, and supervisor needs and requests.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other parties.
• Physically assist with activities as children move during sessions; lift 25+ pounds as needed.
• Perform any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities#bt3
