Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide in-home therapy for children with autism in West Nyack, NY. You will implement individualized behavioral plans under the supervision of a BCBA and participate in ongoing ABA training.

The role requires data collection, regular communication with supervisors, and a commitment to weekday (and some weekend) afternoon/evening sessions in a family-centered setting. Opportunities for advancement are highlighted with our provider network.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum ABA experience.
• BA in related field or undergraduates in pursuit of relevant education.
• Willingness to work in-home with children.

Responsibilities

• Implement unique, one-to-one behavioral intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in continued staff training on ABA techniques.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisory staff.
• Operate under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Maintain weekday and some weekend availability.
• Collect therapy session data and document progress.

What We're Looking For

A Behavior Technician (BT) with the capability to work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This therapist's role takes place directly in the homes of children with autism.

About the Position

Schedule: Cases available in the afternoon, from 3-8pm Monday to Friday and some weekends (Home Service)
