Job summary

Little Spurs Autism Centers seeks a Behavior Technician Trainee to join our autism therapy team in San Antonio, TX. You will complete our paid training pathway toward RBT certification and work one-on-one with children using play-based ABA therapy.

During the 30-day training you’ll earn $16.00/hour with a raise to $18.00/hour after certification. Training and certification costs are covered, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Interest in ABA and working with children with autism.
• Ability to learn and grow professionally within the ABA field.

Responsibilities

• Provide play-based ABA therapy on a 1:1 basis.
• Help children build communication, social, and living skills.
• Support reduction of challenging behaviors through evidence-based interventions.
• Work closely with supportive team members and supervisors.
• Utilize iPad for data collection and session documentation.
