Job summary

ACHIEVEMENT BEHAVIOR CARE INC is seeking a compassionate Special Education Behavior Technician to deliver in-home and community-based ABA services for a 12-year-old male in Merrick, NY. Under BCBA supervision, you will implement an individualized plan, collect data, and support communication, social, adaptive, and independent-living skills.

Responsibilities include one-to-one therapy, data collection, session notes, and professional communication with caregivers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• RBT certification or related coursework is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to satisfy applicable New York background-check requirements.
• Ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
