Job summary

A supportive behavioral services group in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities. You'll implement behavior intervention plans under supervision, collect data, and support skill-building. Reliable transportation and experience with autism are essential. Opportunities for advancement and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with children diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• RBT Certification is strongly preferred.
• Compassion and patient approach when working with children.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collect data during sessions to track progress.
• Support skill-building in communication and daily living.
• Support skill-building in areas such as communication, social interaction, and daily living.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to provide feedback and progress reports.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and timely session notes and documentation.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician. In this role, you will work one-on-one with individuals, primarily children, diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities. Not registered? We can help with that!

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Collect data during sessions to track progress
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals
• Support skill-building in areas such as communication, social interaction, and daily living
• Collaborate with the treatment team to provide feedback and progress reports
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and timely session notes and documentation

The candidate we are looking for will have:

• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• A high school diploma or equivalent
