Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong English grammar, spelling and reading comprehension.
• Basic understanding of mathematics.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Physically able to engage in classroom and playground activities.
• Previous experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs developed by a BCBA or Behavior Specialist, targeting goals in IEPs.
• Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges in classroom, playground or cafeteria.
• Use positive behavior support techniques to teach replacement behaviors and social skills.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress using data collection tools.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff to create a cohesive support system.
• Communicate progress with the BCBA/Behavior Specialist and report concerns.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to intervention plan development.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
