Job summary

Forte Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to support students in an afterschool program with Corona-Norco Unified School District for the 2026-2027 year. The role involves implementing BIPs, collecting progress data, and collaborating with school staff in a structured setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong English skills, and the ability to work Monday-Friday after school hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong English grammar, spelling and reading comprehension.
  • Basic understanding of mathematics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA or Behavior Specialist.
  • Provide direct support to students in classroom, playground and cafeteria.
  • Utilize positive behavior support techniques and teach replacement behaviors.
  • Collect data on student behavior and progress using data collection tools.
  • Collaborate with school staff and participate in team meetings.
  • Communicate with BCBA regarding student progress and concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in behavior intervention.
  • Attend team meetings and student support meetings as needed.
