Job summary

Forte Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to support students in an afterschool program with Corona-Norco Unified School District for the 2026-2027 year. The role involves implementing BIPs, collecting progress data, and collaborating with school staff in a structured setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong English skills, and the ability to work Monday-Friday after school hours.

Qualifications

Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong English grammar, spelling and reading comprehension.
Basic understanding of mathematics.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA or Behavior Specialist.
Provide direct support to students in classroom, playground and cafeteria.
Utilize positive behavior support techniques and teach replacement behaviors.
Collect data on student behavior and progress using data collection tools.
Collaborate with school staff and participate in team meetings.
Communicate with BCBA regarding student progress and concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in behavior intervention.
Attend team meetings and student support meetings as needed.
