Job summary

KBH in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism, implement plans designed by a BCBA, and collect progress data. You\'ll work under supervision and collaborate with a clinical team in a supportive clinic setting.

This role emphasizes engaging learning environments and ongoing development, with a structured Fieldwork Program and potential incentives upon milestone completion.

Qualifications

  • RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days – paid training provided).
  • Experience working with children in structured or caregiving settings.
  • Ability to think on your feet, stay engaged, and create a positive, interactive environment for children.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to be on your feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and respond quickly to movement as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect and record data on client progress during sessions.
  • Interact with clients and caregivers throughout sessions.
  • Create engaging, fun, and motivating learning environments for children.
  • Collaborate daily with your clinical team.
  • Receive in‑person BCBA supervision and home‑base clinic support throughout your day.
  • Benefit from lower BCBA caseloads for additional guidance and real‑time feedback.
