Job summary

Carolinacenterforaba in Wilmington, NC is seeking dedicated individuals for 1:1 ABA therapy with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). You will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) while enjoying a team-oriented environment and full support. RBT certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days.

Consistent schedule, stable hours, and no weekends. In‑person BCBA supervision and a home base clinic so you’re supported throughout your day.

At Kind Behavioral Health, you’ll work in a team‑oriented, clinic‑based environment with lower BCBA caseloads, giving you more access to guidance, coaching, and real‑time support.

With over 20 years of experience serving children and families in North Carolina, we bring a proven, well‑established ABA therapy model to every clinic, now expanding into Georgia.

Compensation

  • $18.00–$24.00/hour depending on experience and RBT certification level
  • Higher starting rates available for experienced RBTs

Schedule

  • Full‑time roles:
    • 8:00am–3:30pm
    • 11:00am–6:30pm
  • Part‑time roles: flexible scheduling based on availability and clinic needs
  • Services delivered across clinic, home, and community settings, with strong clinic‑based support

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and record data on client progress during sessions
  • Interact with clients and caregivers throughout sessions
  • Create engaging, fun, and motivating learning environments for children
  • Collaborate daily with your clinical team

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in structured or caregiving settings required (ABA, childcare, education, or related fields)
  • Ability to think on your feet, stay engaged, and create a positive, interactive environment for children
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements
