Job summary

Compleat Kidz in Salisbury, NC is hosting open interviews for Behavior Technician (BT) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) roles. Interviews are on the spot every Wednesday & Thursday, 10 AM – 2 PM (EST) at 113 W Innes St, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one ABA interventions under a BCBA, collect data, document sessions, and collaborate with families and the treatment team. RBT certification within 3 months, background check, and basic computer skills (Excel) are

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with children.
• Must pass a Background Check prior to employment.
• Willing to complete the RBT course and obtain Certification within 3 months of employment.
• Basic computer skills including Excel.
• Flexible and able to adapt in the moment.
• Willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Follows behavior and skill acquisition plan written by BCBA.
• Collects all relevant data inside the session.
• Completes session documentation.
• Able to manage disruptive behavior within guidelines set by behavior intervention plan.
• Collaborating with family and treatment team.
• Communicates any relevant information from sessions to the BCBA.
• May be required to provide services in more than one clinic.

Behavior Technicians will provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and to reduce challenging behaviors to children across all environments. Behavior Technicians will use interventions written by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA services will be provided in our Compleat KiDZ Pediatric Therapy clinics.

Education Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent

• Compleat KiDZ offers access to the 40-hour RBT Training course to those interested in pursuing becoming an RBT

Working Environment

This job operates in a clinic base environment. Travel between clinics may be required if RBT is servicing more than one clinic.
