Job summary

Burton Behavioral Interventions Corp. is seeking dedicated staff to provide one-on-one behavioral intervention services for children with autism in client homes, schools, and community settings in Albany and surrounding areas in Oregon.

You will implement plans under supervision and use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social and daily living skills. The role requires RBT certification or RBAI license, at least 6 months of RBT/RBAI experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

  • RBT certification or RBAI license required.
  • Minimum 6 months working as an RBT/RBAI.
  • High school diploma or GED; college coursework a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization and adaptability skills.
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain; valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with autism.
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
  • Accurately collect and record data to track client progress.
  • Adapt to challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.

Pay Range: $19 - $25 per hour (based on experience, skills, and performance)
Expected Hours: 20 – 40 per week
Work Location: In-person (client homes, schools, and community settings)

Job Responsibilities

  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in using technology, including email, scanning, and document handling.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong spelling and written communication skills.
Compensation

Compensation for this role falls within this range and is determined by factors such as experience, skills, job performance, and tenure. This range represents the potential earnings for the position but does not guarantee that all employees are paid either the highest or lowest amount.
