Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to work with clients in Montgomeryville and surrounding areas. The role involves 1:1 and group settings, implementing individualized plans, and collecting data under supervision.

Our program offers flexible training with post-training permanent placements, a supportive clinical team, and opportunities to develop skills across schools, clinics, homes, and community-based environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified.
• 1 year minimum of working with children.
• Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes
