Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services seeks experienced behavioral therapists to provide in-home one-on-one ABA interventions for children on the Autism Spectrum under BCBA supervision. You will implement goals from the treatment plan and document each session accurately.

Responsibilities include working with families, following BCBA guidance, and delivering engaging, development-focused sessions. We offer paid orientation, weekly pay, flexible hours, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year relevant professional experience.
• Current hands-on CPR certification - CPR must be a physical class (BLS American Heart Association).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray as applicable per state/client requirements.
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information via strong communication skills; English may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Follows the instructions of the BCBA/Program Supervisor.
• Provides behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients.
• Work with clients, families, and communities to implement client treatment plan.
• Complete and document session per policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in in-service training.
• Uphold & follow the ethical standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Playtime is learning time; having fun is expected as well.

What We Do

Under the ongoing supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst, our BT’s & RBT's provide behavioral intervention with children on the Autism Spectrum working 1:1 in the in-home setting. You are responsible for implementing goals in the treatment plan as written by the BCBA. Our goal is to improve the lives of children and families living with autism. And specifically help children on the spectrum learn effective social, motor, language, communication and cognitive skills with the approach of ABA.
