Job summary

ABS Kids in Oxnard, CA seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to support children with autism using ABA techniques. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are preferred; premium pay applies for bilingual sessions. Training on the job and certification support are provided.

You'll collect data, implement one-on-one interventions, and help clients develop daily living skills. The role offers part-time shifts, paid travel, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team dedicated to empowering

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness – learn our data collection software and use basic office software.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification on the job.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills.

$500-$1000 bonus for candidates based on experience.

We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs.

Must have one of these availabilities, Monday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm, or 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm.

• $20.00 - $24.50 / hour
• Increase for RBT certification
