Job summary

ABS Kids in Moorpark, CA is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through ABA therapy. Roles involve one-on-one sessions, data collection, and helping kids develop life skills; bilingual Spanish/English candidates get $1.00/hour premium when working on bilingual-required sessions.

We offer flexible shifts (Mon-Fri) with various start times, plus paid time off, paid RBT certification training, drive time reimbursement, a 401(k) match, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with children or adults with special needs
• Fluent in Spanish and English preferred
• Reliable transportation to client homes and other locations

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child!

• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly

$500-$1000 bonus for candidates based on experience.

We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs.

Must have one of these availabilities, Monday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm, or 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm.

You Have

• 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs - make sure this is on your resume or application!
• A heart for helping kids
• A calm, steady presence
• Eagerness and energy to play
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software
• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred
