Job summary

ABS Kids in California is hiring for a role supporting children with autism. You will provide one-on-one ABA-based support in client homes, using play and patient instruction to build real-life skills. The job offers flexible shifts within Monday-Friday windows and premium pay for bilingual sessions.

No prior experience? training on the job, plus benefits including 401(k) match, PTO, and reimbursement for drive time and mileage.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Willing to learn data collection software.
• Reliable transportation to client homes and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child through ABA therapy.
• Use play and patience to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help develop essential life skills including motor, hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills.
• Move in and out of play areas and home visits as needed.

Job Requirements

Are you bilingual in Spanish/English or another language? If so, you can earn an additional $1.00/hour (premium pay) when matched with bilingual-required client sessions.

$1,000 bonus for current RBTs.

Must have one of these availabilities, Monday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm, or 12:00pm-7:00pm, or 3:00pm-7:00pm.

• Increase for RBT certification

You Have

• 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs - make sure this is on your resume or application!

• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software
• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred
