Job summary

ABA SHINE is hiring a Strong Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support for a young adult male with challenging behaviors. This part-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $30-$45 per hour depending on experience and requires flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates will have an RBT certification or considerable experience in behavioral support. Responsibilities include implementing strategies from a BCBA and ensuring client safety. Qualifications

• RBT certification or strong experience in behavior support/crisis intervention.
• Ability to manage high-intensity behaviors professionally and safely.
• Must obtain Livescan, CPR, and TB clearance.

Position: Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Home-based Livermore
Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
Shifts: Part-time; 15 hours a week (3.75h after 2:30 for 4 days a week or 3h a day for 5 days a week)

About the Case

We are urgently seeking experienced and reliable Behavior Technicians or RBTs to provide 1:1 support for a young adult male who may exhibit severe maladaptive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct behavior support and supervision
• Implement behavior intervention strategies directed by a BCBA
• Ensure client safety and de‑escalate aggressive or unsafe behavior
• Accurately document session notes and incident reports
• Collaborate with facility staff and clinical team

Requirements

• RBT certification or strong experience in behavior support/crisis intervention
• Ability to manage high‑intensity behaviors professionally and safely
• Male candidates are preferred due to client’s specific needs
• Must be reliable, patient, and physically capable of managing aggressive episodes
• Livescan, CPR, and TB clearance required (or willingness to obtain quickly)
