Job summary

ABA Centers of Connecticut is hiring Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Monroe/Oxford, CT. Roles involve delivering ABA therapy in various settings, with paid training and mentorship to advance toward BCBA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience working with children or adolescents is preferred.
• Prior exposure to ABA services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality of data collection.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
