Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services in Palm Springs is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA-based therapy in home or community settings. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans under BCBA supervision and tracking progress, with a focus on developing communication and social skills for youth with developmental disabilities.

The role supports evenings Monday–Friday (4:00pm–8:30pm), with a flexible 2–10 hours per week and potential for Maryland benefits eligibility for

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two+ years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and insurance.
• Flexibility with client scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs in home/community settings.
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Implement treatment goals under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide progress feedback to supervisor.
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other goals.
• Track client progress and program data.
• Adhere to company policy and confidentiality.

Job Locations: US-CA-PALM SPRINGS

Contract Type: Part-Time

Availability: Current availability needs: Monday - Friday between the hours of 4:00pm - 8:30pm (2-10 hrs/wk)

Locations: Cities include: Palm Springs and other surrounding cities.

Responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in their homes and/or a community environment
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with a developmental disability in a home or community setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres to Company Policy and Procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information

Qualifications

• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification, preferred
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred
• Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs
• Strong ability to use problem solving and critical thinking skills at all times
