Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Behavior Technician for part-time evening work in the High Desert region (Victorville, CA). You will deliver ABA-based, 1:1 therapy to youth with developmental disabilities in home or community settings, under supervision, and document progress for program supervision.

The role requires steady availability 3:00pm–8:00pm, 2–5 hours per day, five days a week, with potential for regional travel within service cities.

Qualifications

• RBT preferred but not required for Behavior Technician.
• Two or more years of experience with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-driven programs for youth in homes or community settings.
• Provide 1:1 therapy under supervision of a BCBA.
• Track client progress and report progress to supervisor.
• Facilitate communication, self-help, social skills, and other goals.
• Observe confidentiality and protect patient information.

Year-round availability needs: Monday - Friday

Between the hours of 3:00pm - 8:00pm (2-5 hrs/day)

Cities of Service will include: Victorville, Adelanto, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Phelan, and other surrounding cities.

Responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in their homes and/or a community environment
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with a developmental disability in a home or community setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres to Company Policy and Procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information

Qualifications

• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification, preferred
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred
• Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs
• Strong ability to use problem solving and critical thinking skills at all times
