Job summary

Butterfly Effects in Newnan, GA is seeking an Experienced Behavior Technician or RBT to support children with autism. You will implement individualized treatment plans under a BCBA and help clients develop communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.

This is a part-time role with flexible hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and the opportunity to grow toward BCBA certification with company support and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or obtainable.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA guidance.
• Observe, record, and report client progress and behavior.

What Do You Bring to the Role?

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.

• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.

What Would You Be Doing?

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
