MedCare Pediatric is seeking an Entry Level Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children and in group settings. You will help develop communication, social, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under supervision, with strong support for your growth in the role.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development, including RBT training and ongoing education.

Competenze

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ years of experience/exposure with children.
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• Ability to complete a 40-hour training course to obtain certification.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Must pass a background check.

• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes.

Behavior Technicians (BTs) work one-on-one with children to help build communication, social, and daily living skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA). Entry Level Behavior Technician Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality
• Must pass a background check
• Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings
