Job summary

Comprehensive Autism Center in Temecula, CA is seeking Behavior Therapists to train and become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). We offer paid RBT training, in-class and hands-on mentorship, and therapy in both center- and home-based settings to support children with autism.

Starting hourly rate ranges from $18.20 with opportunities for raises to $21.00–$25.50, plus benefits and ongoing clinical support from BCBA supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Entry-level position with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Reliable transportation to commute to both center-based and home-based service locations.
• Clear background checks (Fingerprint and FBI/DOJ).
• Proof of TB clearance.
• Experience working with children (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, behaviorally-based therapy to children with autism and developmental delays in both center-based and home-based settings as part of your role.
• Follow a structured, research-based curriculum tailored to each child's needs.
• Participate in our online and hands-on training, receiving mentorship from experienced BCBAs who offer real-time feedback.
• Utilize hand-held technology for real-time data collection to help you track your progress and development.
• Work part-time (up to 29 hours per week) with the potential to transition to full-time.
