Job summary

California Autism Center in the Central Valley seeks a full-time Behavior Technician to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ages 18 months to six years. You will implement evidence-based ABA plans, work one-on-one with clients, and help them build social, behavioral, and daily living skills in a supportive, play‑based setting.

You’ll record data on iPads, follow structured treatment plans, coordinate with BCBA supervisors, and contribute to a positive, team-focused center that

At California Autism Center, we are dedicated to providing high‑quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to young children (ages 18 months to six years) in a supportive and nurturing environment. We are currently seeking compassionate and driven individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians.

About the Role:

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them develop essential social, behavioral, and daily living skills. Using a playful and positive approach, you will implement evidence‑based treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support each child’s growth and success in the classroom and community.

Behavior Technicians play a vital role in shaping our clients' lives. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Working one‑on‑one with clients to collect data on skill acquisition and behavioral progress, all recorded digitally on iPads.
• Reducing behavioral excesses by following structured treatment plans.
• Regularly communicating with supervisors and team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• During downtime, you will also be responsible for preforming janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting toys and surfaces, dishwashing, trash disposal, stocking restrooms and kitchens, etc.
