Job summary

Centria Autism in Willamina, Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We value patience, compassion, and teamwork. Comprehensive training is provided; you may not need prior experience.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and support during activities; assist with mobility up to 50 pounds.
• Collaborate with the team to support each child's progress.
