Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and help reduce challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and value compassionate, patient team players who are dedicated to making a difference.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through data-driven practices.
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by the company.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment while ensuring child safety.
