Job summary

CLASS is hiring Behavior Technicians in Poway, CA. You will work 1:1 with children who have autism in home and community settings, delivering ABA-based therapy under supervision. Training is provided and advancement within a BCBA-owned, privately run practice is emphasized.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and strong communication as you help children achieve meaningful progress and smiles. A supportive team and ongoing professional development await.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking.
• Enjoy teaching and playing with children.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven time management and organizational abilities.
• Be punctual and responsive to scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and skills competency before working independently.
• Deliver 1:1 behavior therapy sessions (minimum 2 hours) using ABA principles.
• Support children with autism in homes, schools, or community settings.
• Follow and implement clinical programs created by the Clinical Team.
• Collect data accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with team, office staff, and families.
• Handle basic admin tasks like scheduling and timesheets.

Compensation & Perks

• Hourly Pay: $24to $31(DOE & education)

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Enjoy teaching and playing with kids.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Must be punctual and responsive.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs and perform physical activities like kneeling, bending, standing, walking, and playing with children.
