Pay Range: USD $17.00/Hr.

Overview

Responsible for working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and mental health disorders in a 1:1 setting following ABA methods and procedures, facilitating peer interactions when appropriate. This includes but is not limited to:

Responsibilities
  1. Organize and maintain instructional areas throughout and after sessions.
  2. Prepare and keep materials accessible and organized.
  3. Dress appropriately and arrive on time, allowing ample preparation time.
  4. Complete all assigned tasks related to sessions.
  5. Receive supervision from supervisors through direct observation.
  6. Attend team meetings and trainings.
  7. Communicate professionally and positively with coworkers and parents.
  8. Respond to internal communications within 24 hours.
  9. Practice universal precautions against communicable diseases.
  10. Maintain communication with parents regarding therapy.
  11. Deliver instruction following training procedures and feedback.
  12. Accurately collect, record, and analyze data.
  13. Respond to client behaviors following procedures and feedback.
  14. Complete training and demonstrate accurate implementation of client-specific plans.
  15. Maintain certification in basic first aid.
  16. Complete and submit progress notes promptly.
  17. Identify intervention needs and communicate timely.
  18. Implement Crisis Prevention Institute procedures when needed.
  19. Report to BCBA for client needs and programs; to Clinical Managers for administrative issues.
  20. Maintain client privacy per HIPAA and company policies.
Qualifications
  1. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  2. Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, jog, or run quickly, and assume various postures.
  3. Physical activities include bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 40 lbs.
  4. Must be 18 years or older.
  5. High school diploma or GED required.
  6. Valid Driver License and reliable vehicle required.
