Overview

Responsible for working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and mental health disorders in a 1:1 setting following ABA methods and procedures. This includes facilitating peer interactions when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain instructional area throughout and after sessions
• Prepare and organize materials and stimuli
• Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, prepared for sessions
• Complete all session-related tasks
• Receive supervision through direct observation
• Attend team meetings and trainings
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and parents
• Respond to internal communication within 24 hours
• Practice universal precautions
• Maintain communication with parents about therapy
• Follow procedures learned from training and feedback
• Accurately record and analyze data
• Respond to client behaviors per training
• Complete training and demonstrate understanding of client plans
• Maintain certification in basic first aid
• Complete progress notes promptly
• Identify intervention needs and communicate timely
• Implement Crisis Prevention procedures as needed
• Report to BCBA and Clinical Managers appropriately
• Maintain client privacy per HIPAA and policies
