Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services Inc. is hiring a Behavior Technician in Elk Grove/Sacramento. Part-time role with 12–8pm shifts in home or clinic settings, offering $20–$24/hour based on experience and training.

You will support children with autism or developmental delays, delivering one-on-one activities, recording progress, and collaborating with families. Training for RBT certification is provided, with costs covered if you pass on first try.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly Preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or those who have completed an ABA paraprofessional training certificate.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus!
• Must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment.
• RBT certification not required to apply, but the 40-hour training must be completed before your start date.
• Must obtain RBT certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through structured activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
