Job Description
- We offer high-quality ABA services on a multidisciplinary team to children ages 2-21 years old in center and in-home environments.
- Provide direct 1:1 or small group therapy to children and young adults with autism, following the treatment plan under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Maintain targeted caseload hours of therapy per week.
- Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Implement treatment plans across multiple domains, including communication, social behavior, learner readiness skills, self-care, replacement behavior, and behavior reduction, as instructed by BCBA.
- Motivate clients by adapting activities to their preferences.
- Respond calmly and intentionally to challenging behaviors, in line with the client's Behavior Intervention Plan.
- Assist with assessments, under BCBA supervision, using tools like VBMAPP, ABLLS, once properly trained.
- Help maintain a safe and organized therapy environment.
- Support staff with related tasks to enhance daily operations.
- Provide session coverage as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary therapists.
- Attend training sessions to enhance professional knowledge.
- Complete all assigned tasks related to meetings and training on time.
- Manage daily routines and center activities, including opening/closing procedures and creating session materials.
- Accurately record client performance data and billing information in online platforms.
- Implement treatment plans across various environments, including travel to client homes and community settings.
- Assist with toilet training and diaper changes if required.
- Perform all essential duties satisfactorily and uphold company principles and policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18+ years old by hire date
- Bachelor's degree or enrollment in related fields preferred
- Interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Willingness to learn Applied Behavior Analysis
- Ability to maintain safety and infection control standards
- Effective communication skills with various stakeholders
- Proficiency with iPad applications and web-based technology
