Ro Health is seeking School Based Behavior Technicians to support students across multiple districts for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. The role focuses on 1:1 ABA therapy, data collection, and collaboration with BCBAs, teachers, and families.

You will work during school hours with diverse placements, earning $24–$27 per hour, depending on assignment and experience. Ro Health provides supervision, credentialing support, and a pathway for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in ABA or supporting individuals with developmental needs preferred.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior therapy to students using ABA and implement individualized plans by a BCBA.
• Support students to meet goals in IEPs including behavior, social skills, communication, and academics.
• Collect and document data on behavior and skill acquisition, adjust strategies with BCBAs as needed.
• Help students build independence in daily routines, transitions, social interactions, and tasks.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and use proactive strategies to prevent challenging behaviors.
• Communicate professionally with educators, families, and supervisors while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision to grow in the role as an RBT.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 behavior therapy to students using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), implementing individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by a BCBA
• Support students in achieving goals outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including behavior regulation, social skills, communication, and academic engagement
• Collect and document accurate data on behavior and skill acquisition, and collaborate with BCBAs and school staff to adjust strategies as needed
• Assist students in building independence across daily routines, classroom transitions, peer interactions, and learning activities
• Reinforce positive behaviors and use proactive, evidence-based strategies to prevent or redirect challenging behaviors
• Communicate professionally with educators, families, and agency supervisors while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to support student progress and your continued development as an RBT
