Job summary

Thrive Autism Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver ABA therapy to children with autism and related developmental needs. You will work under Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement intervention plans, collect data, and support skill acquisition across social, communication, and self-care domains.

We serve clients with behavioral, cognitive, developmental needs from 18 months into adulthood, providing ABA therapy centered around each client’s voice and experience. Position Summary

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide services to children with a range of cognitive, behavioral, and developmental disorders. You will work directly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver and implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming, collect data, manage problem behaviors, and receive training in all areas of direct service delivery. Your instructional role will focus on social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self‑care skills.

Education, Certification, Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required), bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).

Certifications: RBT certification (preferred).

Experience: 6‑12 months working in ABA therapy.

Physical Requirements

Standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to lift up to 40 pounds.

Additional Criteria

Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.

RBT Training Path

If you are not yet an RBT but have relevant experience, Thrive can help you obtain certification. The training includes 40‑50 hours of Thrive‑provided coursework, trainer check‑ins, and the expectation that you sit for the RBT test and obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
