Job summary

Total Care ABA in Danville, VA is seeking Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in-home and in-school settings under BCBA supervision.

You will help children build communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills, and collect progress data. Paid training is provided if you have no ABA experience, with flexible scheduling and local travel.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Reliable transportation to travel locally to client sites.
• High School Diploma or GED is required, RBT preferred.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you'll provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Provide individualized ABA therapy to children in-home and in-school settings

• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA

• Teach communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills

• Collect and accurately record client progress data

• Encourage positive behaviors through evidence-based interventions

• Partner with families and clinical team members to support each child's success

• Travel locally to client homes and community settings as needed

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

• Help children achieve meaningful goals and celebrate every milestone

What we expect from you:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience working with children preferred

• ABA experience preferred but not required

• RBT Certification preferred.

Schedule Options

Full-Time - 35-40 hours per week

Part-Time - 10-20 hours per week Flexible Shift Options Available
