Job summary

Total Care ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home and in-school ABA therapy in Suffolk, VA. Earn $18-24 per hour with paid training and flexible scheduling. You’ll work with children to improve communication, social, and daily living skills, under BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Willingness to travel locally to client homes and schools.
• Experience with children is preferred but not required.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized ABA therapy to children in-home and in-school settings
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills
• Collect and accurately record client progress data
• Encourage positive behavior through evidence-based interventions
• Partner with families and clinical team members to support each child's success
• Travel locally to client homes and community settings as needed
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Help children achieve meaningful goals and celebrate every milestone

What we expect from you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children preferred
• ABA experience preferred but not required
• RBT Certification preferred.

Schedule Options

Full-Time - 35-40 hours per week

Part-Time - 10-20 hours per week Flexible Shift Options Available
