Job summary

Total Care ABA in Bristol, VA is hiring Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy in-home and in-school, under the supervision of a BCBA, helping children build communication, social, and daily living skills. No ABA experience?

Training is provided. Flexible schedules, full- and part-time options, travel to local client homes, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ABA experience preferred but not required.
• RBT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home and in-school settings under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Collect and accurately record client progress data.
• Encourage positive behaviors through evidence-based interventions.
• Partner with families and clinical team members to support each child's success.
• Travel locally to client homes and community settings as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Help children achieve meaningful goals and celebrate every milestone.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you'll provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills
• Collect and accurately record client progress data
• Encourage positive behaviors through evidence-based interventions
• Partner with families and clinical team members to support each child's success
• Travel locally to client homes and community settings as needed
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Help children achieve meaningful goals and celebrate every milestone

What we expect from you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children preferred
• ABA experience preferred but not required
• RBT Certification preferred.

Schedule Options

Full-Time - 35–40 hours per week

Part-Time - 10–20 hours per week Flexible Shift Options Available
