Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. We provide in-home, school, or community ABA therapy focused on outcomes and client success.

You will work 3:30–7:30 PM on weekdays with weekend shifts, under supervision of a BCBA, collecting data, implementing plans, and collaborating with families. We offer paid training, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have ABA therapy experience or willingness to learn.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and local travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment.
• Abide by BACB ethics for RBTs.
• Continue professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.

• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Collect and document data on client progress.

• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.

• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.

• Continue with professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $20 - $29/hour

• Part-Time: Monday through Friday 3:30 to 7:30 PM and weekends (flexible)

• Location: Bridgeport, CT

Behavior Technician (BT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.

• Ability to pass background check.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
