ABA A Step At A Time Care in Suffield, CT is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) for engaging 1:1 ABA therapy with clients in home, school, or community settings. You will implement BCBA-designed plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with families to support client outcomes.

The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and growth opportunities in a supportive, clinician-led environment. Prior ABA exposure is a plus; background check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior Technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.

Behavior Technician (BT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $20 - $30/hour

• Part-Time: Monday through Friday 3:30 to 7:30 PM and weekends (flexible)

• Location: Suffield, CT

Behavior Technician (BT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.

• Ability to pass background check.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
